Shooting with Bethany and Andrew was so much fun. Andrew is a Principal and Bethany is a counselor. At first Jessah and I tried to be on our best behavior, because in a lot of ways we still feel like kids! Luckily we got no detentions...
Within little time, we were all smiles and laughs. The backdrop was Longwood Gardens in Chester County, PA. Jessah had been there once before, but I never had. This place was HUGE! It wasn't just a bunch of open space though, it was carefully laid out. There was a lot of thought put into the landscape, and it was evident to us.
We had a few hours together, but we didn't even come close to exploring this whole place. With so many beautiful spots, we started right away with our session. The sun was strong, but the trees provided such lovely diffusion of the light.
I think my favorite area to shoot at was this one tree that had a very low hanging branch. The wind was blowing, so the leaves were falling all around Bethany and Andrew. Jessah and I knew there was no way we were rushing through this session.
By the time we got to the waterfall, the landscape backdrops were just backgrounds. The beautiful couple was center stage, and they fit this place perfectly. Somehow every session seems to fit perfectly with what we want. Jessah and I were so happy this couple booked us.
While this is only their engagement session, the wedding will be magical for sure. In less than a month, make sure you watch for that upcoming wedding. They planned it on New Year's Eve! This couple knows what they want, and Jessah and I are only too happy to be a part of it.
